Belkyra® is a Health Canada approved treatment for sub mental fat (also known as double chin). 

It is an injectable treatment that uses the active ingredient deoxycholic acid, a natural occurring molecule in the body that helps with the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. It destroys the membranes of the cells that store fat. Once destroyed they can no longer store fat, as a result, the body then starts the natural healing process and the elimination process take over. You will notice a reduction in fat over a 4-6 week period. 

Most clients may need 2-4 treatments approximately 4-6 weeks apart.

With this treatment you will have some swelling. Bruising is also common in the area being treated, therefore plan accordingly. Recommend that you book a minimum 2 weeks before an event.
